Impact Investment in Africa

We welcome you to this AFRICA INNOVATION NETWORK workshop about Impact Investment and funding opportunities in Africa

January 18th, 2019 in Copenhagen, 1.00 pm – 3.30 pm

Impact investing is a young but rapidly growing industry and during the last couple of years we have identified a number of different impact investing / funds in and outside Africa, offering finance and impact capital for businesses and organisations, doing sustainable business in Africa.

We have identified more than 170 impact investment / funding opportunities, targeting a commercial and non-commercial approach in Africa which we would like to share with you. 

At this workshop we will: 

• Give an overview of the different impact investment / funding opportunities in Africa
• Discussing some of the main criteria for obtaining funding 
• Discuss how to apply for funding

The funds provide both impact capital / venture capital / loans and equity to business / projects targeting specific African countries – and/or specific business sectors.
