What does it mean to contribute to UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?

We invite companies to join our 2 workshops “SDG BUSINESS” where we will work with how your business can successfully contribute to the SDGs while improving your core business.

Workshop 1:
A) Understanding the SDGs
First step is to understand the principles of the SDGs in order to understand how your core business, products, concepts or solutions can apply to one or more of the SDGs.

B) Why focus on the SDGs?
Integrating the SDGs into your business model can start an innovative process throughout your organization and value chain, new external collaborations, and new customers and target groups.

C) Which SGDs are most relevant for your business?
When operating in Africa it is likely that your core business applies to several SDGs, like reducing poverty, securing food or perhaps giving access to better health or clean energy.

During this workshop you will understand the context of the SDGs including which goal(s) that are the most relevant to your business model.

Workshop 2:
D) How to include SDGs into your core business
During this workshop we will focus on how to work with the relevant SDGs and how to incorporate them into your business model while at the same time improving your core business.

E) How to communicate your SDG work and focus
Communication of your work with the SDGs is very important to achieve your goals. After the identification and implementation of SDGs into your business model, we assist you in both the internal and external communication of how your company works with the SDGs as an integrated part of your business strategy.

Our workshop is developed and carried out in cooperation with our CSR-partner, VTUXEN.
