We welcome you to this AFRICA INNOVATION NETWORK seminar “Nordic Innovative digital business solutions in Africa” in Copenhagen, May 16th, 2018.

This seminar will focus on how innovative Nordic companies have created digital solutions suitable for the African markets across many sectors. We will present insights from Nordic companies that each and all have started successful business in Africa and how they have managed to focus on the local business culture as well as scaled up their business.

Focus will be on how different digital solutions can be implemented when investing in Africa:

  • How innovative digital business solutions make Africa leapfrogging
  • Digital trends in Africa
  • How different digital business solutions can comply to different sectors and industries
  • How to expand your business in Africa through the use of digital solutions

Target group

This seminar target companies from all sectors that offer goods, products, concepts and solutions to the African market, as well as companies that are looking at Africa as a new market. African diplomats to the Nordic countries will also be present at the seminar and you´ll therefore have an excellent opportunity to mingle with various diplomats throughout the seminar. We also invite funding,- and finance institutions, NGO´s, representatives from relevant ministries/authorities to this seminar.

Maternity (
Maternity Foundation is a Danish development organization that aims to reduce maternal and newborn mortality in developing countries. Maternity Foundation works to empower and mobilize women to seek care, to build the capacity of and train health practitioners, so that more women give birth with skilled birth attendance. Maternity Foundation’s own program, the Maternal and Newborn Health Program in Ethiopia, works with local partners in the capacity building of health care workers and empowering the community to seek care.
